Future tense – formation of the passive verb
Simple future tense
Active: will/shall/can/may/must + base form of the verb
Passive: will/shall/can/may/must be + past participle
He will write a letter. (Active)
A letter will be written by him. (Passive)
She must learn the lesson. (Active)
The lesson must be learned by her. (Passive)
Future perfect tense
Active: will have + past participle
Passive: will have been + past participle
He will have finished the job. (Active)
The job will have been finished by him. (Passive)
I will have learned the lesson. (Active)
The lesson will have been learned by me. (Passive)
