Determination

• I will go, whatever happens.
• We will not surrender.
• I will not give up.

Promise

• I will try to find you a good job.

Threat

• We will dismiss you from service.
• He will be prosecuted.

Willingness

• ‘There is the door bell.’ ‘I will go.‘

With the second and third person pronouns

When used with second and third person pronouns will expresses simple futurity.

• She will be back in ten minutes.
• The train will leave at 8 o’clock.
